Distance Insurance Contract Terms and Conditions

1. You enter into the insurance contract with us remotely - online - when you book a car on DiscoverCars.com and purchase insurance as an additional service.
2. We create the insurance application at the moment you add the insurance online. The insurance contract is deemed concluded when you pay the insurance premium.
3. If you cancel the insurance contract before the insurance coverage effective date, we will refund the full insurance premium you have paid.
4. Once insurance coverage has taken effect and the insurance period is less than 30 days, you can no longer cancel the insurance contract.
5. If the insurance coverage has already taken effect, you may cancel it only if both of the following conditions are met:

5.1. The insurance period is longer than 30 days; and
5.2. You notify us of the cancellation no later than 14 days after the contract was concluded. In that case we will refund the portion of the premium corresponding to the unused insurance period, i.e. the paid premium minus the amount for the time the contract was in force. The refund will be made within 30 days of receiving your cancellation notice.

6.1. Visit the My Booking page at and submit a cancellation request;
6.2. Send a signed cancellation by post to Sincera Insurance AS, Karla Ulmana avenue 2, Riga, LV-1004, Latvia;
6.3. Email a cancellation signed with a secure electronic signature to [email protected].
